USADA conducts 5 drug tests a week on Brock Lesnar
June 22, 2016 3:43 am
Lesnar was tested five times in a span of two weeks, according to the USADA website, to reveal any traces of performance-chancing drugs (PEDs). The WWE import has never failed a pre- or post-fight drug test throughout his career.
“I’d expect there are even more to come as well before UFC 200,” UFC vice president of health and performance Jeff Novitzky told MMA Fighting.
Results from said tests are pending.
Lesnar (5-3) received a special exemption from USADA — much to the chagrin of current talent — following his surprise addition to UFC 200. That’s where Mark Hunt will try to send him back to the land of make believe as they’re scheduled to throw hands on July 9, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
