Rivalry between Rosberg and Hamilton unlikely to end

Red Bull manager Christian Horner knows what Mercedes are going through following his own battles to keep his bickering drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.

Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg will have to be sacked to solve Mercedes’ driver crisis, rival boss Christian Horner has said.

Red Bull overlord Horner believes the Brackley-based duo is too evenly matched and ambitious to ever get on.

He predicted their last-lap collision in Austria last weekend, which precipitated the latest Mercedes crisis ahead of Sunday’s British Grand Prix, will not be the last.

But he joined Hamilton in appealing to the sport’s pace-setting team not to ruin the spectacle created by open competition.
