Football News – Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen is facing three weeks out with injury.
The 27-year-old, who moved to the Nou Camp from Ajax in the summer, sprained ligaments in his ankle during a Dutch training session.
Cillessen has made just one LaLiga appearance for Barca this season, a 2-1 defeat at Alaves last month, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen preferred as the club’s number one.
A statement on Barcelona’s website read: “Tests (on) Monday confirmed that the first-team goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has a sprained lateral collateral ligament of the right ankle.
“Approximate time low will be about three weeks.”
